Founder & CEO, Francesca was born in Lucerne, grew up in Ticino, earned an MBA in Innovation & Growth in Fribourg, and has worked in the startup sector in Boston, Zurich, Pristina, and Italy. She contributed to the success of one of the fastest-growing startups in the SaaS sector in Zurich, guiding it from the seed round to Series B and securing an exit valued at over $212 million.
With coworkingbar.ch, Francesca has turned a gut feeling into a new way of experiencing work, creating an ecosystem in Ticino for professionals and companies that think beyond the office. Coworkingbar was born from a simple idea: spaces can do much more than what they were originally designed for. For territorial development projects, we team up with Efra, a strategic advisor specializing in destination marketing and tourism promotion. Together, we work with public and private partners to revitalize underused spaces, transforming them into coworking spaces and new services for the local community, while strengthening the destinationโs identity, visibility and appeal to visitors and new residents. One example is our work with the Municipality of Ronco Sopra Ascona to explore new opportunities for the Palazzo Ex-Scuole.
